Weight loss and fat loss

Weight loss and fat loss personal training

Lose the weight and keep it off without living on a treadmill. Strength training, protein-forward nutrition and steady habits help you lose fat and keep your muscle.

Weight loss or fat loss?

They are not the same. Weight loss is any drop on the scale. Fat loss means losing body fat while keeping muscle. Most people want fat loss. Read the full breakdown in fat loss vs weight loss.

How we approach it

  • Strength training 3 to 4 days a week to protect muscle
  • A calorie-aware plan with a moderate deficit you can sustain
  • Protein targets that keep you full and support muscle (see how much protein you need)
  • Daily movement targets like walking
  • Regular check-ins so the plan changes when you do

How progress is tracked

The scale is one number. We also look at waist measurements, photos, how your clothes fit and whether your lifts are holding. That tells you whether you are losing fat or just weight.

Who this is for

  • You have tried dieting and the weight came back.
  • You want to look leaner without losing strength.
  • You want a plan that fits real life.

If you have a medical condition or a lot of weight to lose, work with your doctor alongside your training. Available in person in Las Vegas or online.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose muscle while losing fat?

Not necessarily. Keeping protein high and continuing to lift helps protect muscle.

Do I have to do a lot of cardio?

No. Many people lose fat with strength training, a calorie deficit and daily walking.

How fast will I lose weight?

It varies. A steady pace you can maintain tends to work better than a crash diet.
